I Can See But I Can’t Feel (Pear)
Wall Sculpture – MDF, acrylic paint, ink and glitter

61 cm h x 35 cm w /24″ h x 13″ w

2026

This work is part of new series of works based on Pearl, an imaginary child who demands expression. A child I never had, but one that exists somewhere between the conscious and subconscious. Pearl is defiant, vulnerable and deeply connected to magic, fairy tales and folklore. A spectral being, a sprite that has just stepped out of a magical forest. Pearl is a shapeshifter, she never appears in the same way twice. Sometimes she appears a whole figure, a face or just eyes. In this piece she becomes Pear, a forest sprite.
