I went on a trip to Suffolk (a county in the East of England) recently. A close friend was getting married there. I had never been there before and the BF and I had long talked about going so now we had the perfect excuse. The wedding was in a place called Thorpeness, which is a small holiday village. We took the chance to visit a couple of other places while we were there. Aldeburgh was very close by and so was Southwold. Both are so beautiful and it was really nice to be by the close. We were very lucky with the weather so all in all it was a wonderful weekend.

It’s good to see the sea
A fishing boat in Aldeburgh
There were lots of fresh and smoked fish stalls in Aldeburgh
I love the peeling paint and sea worn textures of the boats
More lovely textures and colours
An A on the beach
A rusty chain and pebbles – I love the colours and textures you get on the beach.
The fishermans restroom in Southwold – I loved this lovely lady
Time for some Sea Shanties…
