15 Oct Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red
I had been wanting to go and see the ceramic poppies at the Tower of London for ages and this weekend I finally got round to it. It was worth the trip, it is amazing and very moving. The installation marks the 100 years since the 1st World War. Each poppy represents a military fatality. There are 888,246 in total. It really is a lot of poppies, and is very moving. It’s there until 11 November, there’s more info here.
