If you follow me on any kind of social media (and if you don’t why not?!) you’ll know that I was recently in Japan. It was an amazing trip.  My first trip to the Far East. I have been a bit obsessed with Japan since I was a teenager and can’t quite remember why I hadn’t been there before. It didn’t let me down. It was an amazing experience. Overwhelming in every sense and in a good way. I obviously took lots of pictures and a going to share some of them with you over the next week or so. I hope you enjoy hearing about my impressions of Japan.

We stayed in for 3 days in Osaka and 3 days in Tokyo.  My BF was there for business and I was there for pleasure.

In this post I thought I’d share some general photos and in the next posts I’ll share more specific things that I did or saw.

There was a lot of advertising everywhere

And lots of neon

And more neon and signage

The ubiquitous puffer fish

Lots of people play Pachinko, the noise and the light in there was oppressive (and that was from the outside, I can’t imagine what it was like inside). I don’t know anyone could concentrate on anything

A shopping street in Osaka

crazy wires

An Osaka street scene

I love the colours of these 2 taxis

That’s it for now watch out for the next post.
