Perrier Jouet – the second year

January is rapidly becoming my favourite month, mostly because of the Perrier Jouet Art Salon and Prize.  We had our inaugural meeting last January (read all about it here) followed by judging and the prize later in the year (read here). This January we had our first dinner of 2014 to welcome some new members.

There were 5 new members in all

Hitomi Hosano – winner of last years prize (see my post here)
Ann Jones – Art Projects and Solutions
Michael Morris – Art Angel
Clare Lilley – Director Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Jo Hooper – Creative/Womenswear at John Lewis

This year the dinner was at the Cadogan Hotel, in Knightsbridge. Apparently it was where Oscar Wilde was arrested and his favourite champagne was Perrier Jouet so there was a good PJ connection.

It was great to meet the new members and see how they all brought something new to the Salon and added a new depth of experience.  The Salon is made up of such warm and passionate people, who I am extremely honoured to be getting to know.

Here are a few pics from the evening…..

It was a lovely evening and such good discussions about the future of the Salon and the prize.  Exciting times ahead.

Until next time cx
