Happy New Year

Hi there

I hope you have had a good festive season.  I spent a week with my brother, in Glasgow, where he lives with his family.  It was pretty hectic as it was also my Mum’s 70th birthday, 3 days before Christmas.

Here’s a picture of our Christmas cake decorated by one of my nieces (made by my sister-in-law), she worked very hard on it, so creative. I think she might be heading towards an artistic future. I hope so anyway, I’d like to think I might have some influence.

We also went for a lovely walk to Loch Lomond on Boxing day.  It was a beautiful day and it felt good to out walking in the air.

a beautiful view across the loch

There was lots of lovely moss

The water looked a bit cold, no one wanted to take a dip!

Some dark and broody trees as the sun was setting

How was your Christmas, what did you get up to?

And now we are in 2014, it’s always exciting to feel the possibilities and excitement of new beginnings.

What have you got planned for 2014? What new projects are you planning?

I can’t wait to share my plans for 2014 with you as they unfold over the year.

But in the mean time here’s to health, wealth and happiness in 2014.

With lots of love
