22 Nov Venezia – part 1
The BF and I managed a cheeky trip to Venice recently, mostly to visit the Biennale, but also to have some fun hanging out.
We had so much fun, saw lots of art. I dreamt about jelly fish (you will be hearing more about this in the (I hope) not too distant future) and consequently saw them everywhere (in the art) we went.
I feel very inspired after the trip.
It was our second trip their together so we mainly spent our time seeing the Biennale, the Giadinni and the Arsenale with a couple of other pavilions that we happened to pass by. We also ate plenty of good food and enjoyed our fair share of Aperol Spritz.
It somehow didn’t occur to me to take a map or guide book, so we pretty much navigated around by luck, instinct a bit of gps and the small map of the location of our apartment. We never really got lost, and anyway it all added to the adventure of the trip.
First I’ll share some general photos of Venice and then in future posts I’ll write about the art that I saw that inspired me.
What’s your favourite thing about Venice? I’d love to know, so why don’t you leave me a comment below.
