Venice – the rest

We also went to quite a lot of the pavilions not in the main venues and various collateral exhibitions. Here are a few of my favourite

Graham Fagen for the Scottish Pavilion in Palazzo Fontana. There was a brilliant film at the end of this exhibition. I quite liked these monsters as well.

I can’t remember where I saw this, but I love the colours

I think this was in one of the collateral exhibitions but I can’t remember which. I just love it, there is such a feeling of tranquility about it.

The Seychelles (I think)

Lovely textileness

IMG_6326

Lots of clocks all ticking to a different rhythm

Sean Scully in the Palazzo Falier. This was amazing, the paintings really occupied their space, the colours really worked in their setting. They were nearly impossible to photograph though, this close up was the best I could do.

IMG_6381

Ellen Gallagher in the Central Pavilion in the Giardini. I love love love her work. These were amazing mixed media pieces

The Cyprus pavilion – it was very zen

I think this was a work of art, but I’m not sure, but it’s very beautiful anyway
