Lemurs the most endangered species

Im0021

Lemurs have been named as the world’s most endangered vertebrates. The destruction of their habitat on Madagascar is leading to their rapid decline. They are only found in the wild on Madagascar which is why their future is so uncertain.

I also read an article about how humans are creating the sixth great extinction of animal species.

All this lead to me feeling a bit depressed. And all the more determined to keep highlighting the beauty of nature in my work.

Here you can my Feathered Lemur, which is an invented species of Lemur so it will never become extinct.

You find out more about him here, he is made from acid etched stainless steel which I hand gilded with imitation gold leaf. He’s very lovely don’t you think
