14 May Going to America
These lovely birds are heading off to America in their dreams. They are cut from a map of trade routes from a 1930’s Chambers of Commerce Atlas. I love the pastel colours of the map and these little birds are flittering and fluttering around on their way to a new adventure across the pond.
They are on display in the Mersey Maritime exhibition at the Bluecoat Display in Liverpool until July.
This gorgeous piece is 52 x 42 cm framed up in a beautiful white frame. It costs £2500 and is available to buy from the Bluecoat Display Centre for the duration of the exhibition.
