Perrier Jouet Art Salon and Prize 2015

A few weeks ago the Perrier Jouet Art Salon met to judge the 2015 prize. This year we met at the Rosewood Hotel, in Holborn, which is a wonderful place and I fully recommend a trip there.

This year we did things a little differently and had the judging earlier to give the winner more time to prepare for their exhibition, which takes place in June.

As ever it was a wonderful evening full of lively debate and discussion (and lots of lovely champagne).

I’m excited to announce the winner is Marcin Rusak. He was my favourite from the beginning, though there was stiff competition from other artists on the shortlist.

He will have a solo exhibition at Contemporary Applied Arts from 25 June to 2 August 2015. I will post more about this nearer the time but do put the dates in your diary.

And here are some photos from the evening.
