Do you practice any daily rituals? I set the intention this year to meditate everyday. I have been wanting to do it for a while but had never been consistent. I’m not sure what changed this year but I made the commitment to meditate everyday. So far I think I’ve missed only one day (due to a long day travelling).
Working from home alone can be challenging and having daily routines and rituals really help. Otherwise it is very easy to find yourself eating breakfast cereal in your PJ’s at 3 in the afternoon, having not left the house for a week. This I can tell you is not good!
So setting up daily or weekly rituals really help. I have other rituals like drinks pots of Yerba Mate tea and a twice a week going to an 8am Pilates class.
When everything is chaotic and work is a little bit crazy having a stop or a start point in the day really helps to keep me grounded.
