07 Jan The Forest of Possibility
I’m very excited to say I have some work in an exhibition called The Forest of Possibility. The exhibition is organised by Art Unpacked. It was curated by Natasha Howes (who co-curated the First Cut exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery). The exhibition is touring Yorkshire and Lincolnshire (mostly Yorkshire) from January to August this year, full details here.
It is a group show of artists that work with paper and includes some old friends, the full line up is James Aldridge, me, Andrea Mastrovito, Charlotte McGowan-Griffin, Davy and Kristin McGuire, Clare Skill and Justine Smith.
The first venue is: 7 January – 14 February 2015 Abbey Walk Gallery, Grimsby. Do head along if you can.
I will have several pieces in the show including a new piece, ‘Can’t See the Wood’, which you can see here.
It is made from hand cut Orographical maps and is a collection of owls and trees. I got a bit obsessed last year (see my Personal Territories exhibition) by owls and trees.
I will post more about the exhibition, the other artists and the works that I have on show.
In the meantime enjoy.
