Paris – Kate MccGwire

I went on a day trip to Paris last Friday, with my friends Val and Lisa. Our main focus was to visit the Musee de la Chasse et de la Nature to see the exhibition of Kate MccGwire there. The Musee de la Chasse is one of my favourite places in Paris (ever!). It’s always on my list of places to go when in Paris. They have a really amazing contemporary art programme there along with a lot of amazing taxidermy all set in a beautiful house in the Marais. It is one of my goals to show my work there.

When I knew that Kate had some work there I knew I had to go and it seemed the perfect opportunity to hop over for the day with 2 of my favourite exhibition going buddies, Val and Lisa.

It was a bit of an early start and the train was an hour late but when we finally arrived Paris was sunny and cold and didn’t disappoint.

Kate’s work looked so beautiful and here are a few pics and some of the taxidermy (I couldn’t resist!)
